Bachelor Program of Civic Education was established on 11th November 1955 and become the oldest study program at the Indonesia University of Education. Bachelor Program of Civic Education has competent lecture and experts in their respective fields such as civics, education, teaching, law, politics, human rights, moral and value, sociology, economic civic and other social sciences, currently the Bachelor Program of Civic Education has 11th professors, 9th doctoral lecture and 6 doctoral candidate lecturers. Expert and competent lecture are certainly in line with the vision and mission of the Bachelor Program of Civic Education itself, namely “Become a Pioneer and Excellent Study Programs in Producing Educators and Expert Civic Educators who have a sense of Nationality, Patriotic, and Pancasila as a fundamental value in 2025”.

The Bachelor Program of Civic Education is currently accredited “A/Excellent” from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia/BANPT, and continues to improve its quality to obtain international recognition such as the Asean University Network Quality Assurance/AUN-QA, international recognition plays a role in creating graduates of civic education who have international competitiveness and are in line with the vision and mission of the Indonesian University of Education “Leading and Outstanding” in the field of Education.
